June 9: Minnesota Festival of Jazz on the Prairie and RibFest

The 23rd annual Minnesota Festival of Jazz on the Prairie, featuring six Twin Cities big bands, takes place on Sunday, June 9, from 2-8 p.m. at Staring Lake Amphitheater (14800 Pioneer Trail) in Eden Prairie.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy 6 straight hours of big band jazz.

• 3 p.m. Good News Big Band 
• 4 p.m. Just Friends Big Band 
• 5 p.m. ACME Jazz Company 
• 6 p.m. Bend in the River Big Band 
• 7 p.m. Jazz on the Prairie Big Band  

RibFest (benefitting the Eden Prairie Noon Rotary charities) serves food from 2-8 p.m.
