Officer Injured While Breaking Up Student Fight at Eden Prairie High School

Preliminary investigation found that six to eight female students may have been involved.

A police liaison officer received an injury today while breaking up a fight at Eden Prairie High School.

At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, Eden Prairie Police responded to a fight among students at Eden Prairie High School. 

In the process of breaking up the fight, a Police Department liaison officer suffered an ankle injury and was transported by ambulance for medical attention.

The Eden Prairie Police Department is working closely with the School District to investigate this incident. Preliminary investigation found that six to eight female students may have been involved. 

The EPPD says no further details about this incident are available at this time.
