The former Edina resident is survived by Diana Billbe Raymond, his wife of 46 years.

Survived by wife of 46 years, Diana Billbe Raymond; children, Kirt and Randi Smith (Nathan); sister, Joyce VanTassel; loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Preceded in death by father, Gordon; mother, Margaret; and sister, Janet Resnik.Â

A graduate of Edina High School and the U of Mankato, Allen was a loving husband and father who had a deep affection and belief in the wonderful world of transportation in the air, on sea and land. A pilot since the age of 17, and owner/operator of the family-founded Raymond Trucking, he followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Waterbrooke Fellowship Church.
