City Of Edina Prepares Environment Assessment Worksheet For 70th Street And France Avenue

Edina, Minn., Oct. 27, 2020 – The City of Edina has prepared an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for a proposed redevelopment at 70th Street and France Avenue.

The proposed project includes the redevelopment of the 5.7-acre US Bank block at 70th Street and France Avenue. The proposed development will include a new bank building, which would be constructed prior to demolition of the existing facility, and three other buildings that include office, retail and residential uses. Construction of the first phase is anticipated to start in spring 2021 and construction of the full development is anticipated to be complete in 2025.

The EAW can be accessed electronically on the City’s website at EdinaMN.gov/Planning. It is also available in hard copy upon request. Written comments on the EAW will be accepted until 4 p.m. Nov. 25.
