Though it may not be fun, scooping the box every day can help you to know what's normal for your cat and find health problems before more dramatic signs of illness occur. More frequent urination with very small urine clumps, very large volumes of urine, changes in stool consistency, color or frequency (e.g., bowel movements that occur less than once daily) may be signs of illness. Schedule an exam soon if you see changes in your cat's litter box habits.
