"A Different View" at the Arb

Opening Reception, Light Refreshments:
Sat., Jan. 12, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Free with gate admission.

Artist Jodi Reeb is exhibiting mixed-media paintings using photographs of pollinator-friendly
plants taken at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum "from the bee's perspective".
These paintings are created with Encaustic paint (molten beeswax with pigment
added) and photographic collages with have the luminosity of wax while
maintaining the graphic nature of photography. Jodi developed this new body of
artwork after researching how to support bees in Minnesota.\

This installation of paintings is a way to celebrate our region's unique pollinator
diversity and our individual and collective responsibility to ensure that
future generations get to experience fields of wildflowers abuzz with
pollinators.
