Edina Fire Department Finds Smoke but no Fire on Sunnyslope Road

The Edina Fire Department responded to a call about a house fire around 7 a.m. this morning on the 4900 block of Sunnyslope Road.

Crews found a heavy smoke smell and a light haze, but no fire, said Jordan Gilgenbach, the department's communications coordinator.

A source of the smoke was not found, and crews left the scene quickly.
