Edina Real Estate Developer, Avid Golfer Dies at 72

Peter Michael Boosalis 'was quick to help, advise or just listen.'

Family and friends are mourning the loss of Edina resident Peter Michael Boosalis, who died June 2 at the age of 72.

Family members said they'll remember him for his love of "God, family and friends," in addition to the pride he drew from his development projects throughout Minnesota.

"He was quick to help, advise or just listen," his obituary reads. "His real joy was his children and grandchildren, whom he loved to be with. Peter felt his life was blessed by his family and friends, and wonderful experiences."

Loved ones recalled the many good times they spent with Boosalis on his online Guest Book, saying the Edina resident truly made the world a better place.

Chicago resident Margo Morris said Boosalis "was an original."

"His smile and great personality were infectious," Morris wrote.

Fellow Edinan John Connolly described Boosalis as a man of "character, kindness and friendship."

"Your smile and handshake will be missed by all who shared it," Connolly wrote.
