New Golf Improvement Center Opens in Edina

Totally Driven Golf's new location offers professional club fitting, fitness evaluations and coaching.

Totally Driven Golf is opening its newest location—at 6529 Cecilia Circle in Edina—in the nick of time for golfers looking to bolster their game this season.

The Twin Cities company opened its Ultimate Golf Improvement Center earlier this week in Edina, offering professional club fitting, physical conditioning and individualized coaching all under the same roof.

Totally Driven Co-Owner Jon Weedman said the business exists because there isn't any one "cookie cutter formula to help every golfer."

“We pride ourselves on working with each individual golfer on their specific needs regardless of skill level," Weedman said, in a release.

The 11,000-square-foot Edina location will offer personalized coaching, professional club fitting and building, full workout gym memberships, golf fitness evaluations and junior development programs, among other things.

One of the company's three co-owners, Lynn Anderson, is actually an Edina native and EHS Hall-of-Famer. Anderson was a U.S. professional tennis player for 13 years and coached a number of state title teams—in both tennis and golf—at Orono High School.

"We look forward to bringing this ultimate golf experience to my hometown of Edina," Anderson said. "Our new location will offer even more space, technology and services than ever before."

Anderson isn't the only local connection, as Jason Jaynes, a former staff member at the Edina Country Club, is on board to lead junior development at Totally Driven.

Totally Driven opened its first Twin Cities location back in 2005, in Oakdale. The company has earned national recognition from Golf Digest, who named the company one of its Top 100 club fitters.
