Not all herbs and oils are safe for animals

Ask your vet before using a supplement on your pet

Not every natural or herbal therapy that's safe in humans is safe for pets. Supplements and therapies that seem quite benign can sometimes cause serious harm. For example, tea tree oil can be toxic to the liver if ingested by a dog or cat, and garlic or onion can result in anemia and/or gastrointestinal problems. Simply searching on the internet isn't always reliable. Always check with your veterinarian before administering supplements to your pet.
