Potential Domestic Disturbance In Edina Resolved Peacefully
The reporting party claimed they may have heard gunshots along with a domestic dispute in the early morning hours.

Edina, Minn., Nov. 4, 2020 – At 12:04 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, officers responded to a possible disturbance in an apartment in the 6000 block of Eden Prairie Road. The reporting party claimed they may have heard gunshots along with a domestic dispute in the early morning hours.

Officers attempted to make contact with the apartment’s occupants, but no one answered the door. Out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of those nearby, officers evacuated nearby units in the apartment building and requested that those in the immediate area shelter in place.
At 1:44 p.m., police officers were able to peacefully make contact and gain entry to the unit. Four individuals left the apartment without incident. No charges were filed, and investigators remain on the scene Wednesday afternoon.
