Rodents do not get rabies. This group includes rats, mice, voles, chipmunks, squirrels, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, and cats can be infected with rabies Only mammals can get rabies, so not birds or reptiles.
