The first and only vice presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan is set for 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11. Check below for more information on that debate and the remaining debates leading up to Election Day.

The debate is airing live on numerous channels starting at 8 p.m. Some channels have preview programs, and some have post-debate analysis. Below is a list of local offerings. All channels are Comcast standard cable.
- Tpt2 (channel 2):Â Debate coverage 8 p.m. through 10 p.m.
- CNN (channel 3):Â Preview coverage starts at 6 p.m. Analysis is scheduled for after the debate, with a repeat of the debate at 11 p.m.
- WCCO (channel 4):Â Debate coverage 8 p.m. through 10 p.m.
- KSTP (channel 5):Â Debate coverage 8 p.m. through 10 p.m.
- KMSP (channel 9):Â Debate coverage 8 p.m. through 9:30 p.m.
- KARE (channel 11):Â Debate coverage 8 p.m. through 10 p.m.
- CSPAN (channel 21):Â Preview coverage runs 6 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. Debate coverage resumes at 8 p.m. and continues through 10:30 p.m.

According to the CPD, "The debate will cover both foreign and domestic topics and be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the question."

According to the CPD, "The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization."
