Representative Bernardy Says YES to Our Kids

Will you invest in our future on November 3rd?

Tic Toc. The time is soon approaching when we can put action to our words of support. Voting for the Fridley Schools Referendum will be held Tues. November 3rd from 7:00am-8:00pm. All Fridley residents must go to the Fridley High School Auditorium to vote.

I was able to grab State House Representative, Connie Bernardy, on why she wants your support for Fridley Schools.

“Tuesday, November 3rd is an important election for our community and students - now and in the future. The residents of Fridley has had a long tradition of supporting the education of its students, and I hope this support will continue on Tuesday, November 3rd with the renewal of the district’s operational levy and approval of its bond issue. Voting yes to both ballot questions will enable the district to improve safety and security measures in all its buildings, complete needed repairs to our schools, and ensure updated technology tools for our students. The average age of district buildings is 55 years and as with any aging building, it is way more costly to fix the consequences of leaky roofs and plumbing problems than it is to properly maintain our schools. I hope you join in the tradition of voting yes in support of our students and schools. Vote yes for Fridley schools and students on November 3.”
