Calvary Invites Public to “Celebrate Spring” Event
Free Pancake Breakfast with Kids Crafts, Stories & Egg Hunt to Be Held March 17

As the snow thaws and people’s cabin fever subsides, the “Celebrate Spring” event will help gather the community for fun and food—all for free! “Celebrate Spring” will take place on Saturday, March 17, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn.
Guests are invited to enjoy:
- A free pancake breakfast and kids crafts - 9-10:30 a.m.
- Stories - 10:30 a.m.
- An egg hunt - 10:45 a.m.
The pancake breakfast will feature Chris Cakes, the national leader in pancake production and entertainment. Chris Cakes’ specially designed giant griddles alone are worth coming to see. What will make the experience even more unique is when the pancake cooks do pancake-flipping tricks, one of which is to toss pancakes to people with their awaiting plates. In addition to free all-you-can-eat pancakes, the menu will include sausage links, coffee, milk, apple juice and orange juice at no charge.
The mission of Calvary is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Established in 1946, Calvary offers five weekly worship services and a wide variety of activities for children, youth and adults. For more information, visit calvary.org or call 763-545-5659.
