City Of Golden Valley Receives Coronavirus Relief Funds

The Federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law March 25, 2020 and provides more than $2 trillion in economic assistance to protect Americans from the public health and economic impacts of COVID-19.
The CARES Act’s $150 billion Coronavirus Relief Fund provides payments to State, Local, and Tribal governments. On June 25, it was announced that $841.4 million from Minnesota’s share of CARES Act funds would be distributed to local governments that have eligible costs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
