Golden Valley Registration For Step To It Challenge Starts On April 1

Break out your tennis shoes, because Step to it starts May 1. The free program offered by Hennepin County runs May 1-28 and is open to anyone.

Step to it is a family-friendly activity challenge that motivates people of all ages and abilities to become more physically active for four weeks.

To participate, keep a running total of the steps you take during the challenge using a pedometer or the online activity conversion chart. Activities such as biking, skateboarding, and gardening can also count toward overall steps.
