Perpich Students Nominated for Prestigious Music Scholarships

If awarded, the scholarships would result in $180,000 for tuition.

Students Cassidy Albrecht and Joseph Leibig have been nominated for the prestigious Peabody Conservatory Blue Ribbon Scholarship. Cassidy, from Stewart, MN, is nominated for a $25,000 per year award and Joseph, from Maple Grove, MN, is nominated for a $20,000 per year award.

As part of their goal of attracting the highest quality students to Peabody, they created a scholarship program called the Peabody Conservatory Blue Ribbon Scholarship. These are being offered to a small number of the top performing arts high schools and youth programs around the country.

Of her nomination, Albrecht said, "It’s an honor to be nominated for a scholarship to such a prestigious school." Leibig had this to say about his nomination, "I am so humbled by the opportunity that Peabody Conservatory has presented to me." Best of luck to them both!
