Pockets of Golden Valley Without Power After Tuesday Storms

Only days after another chance for residents to get rid of June storm tree debris, storms hit the area once more.

Storms that hit the metro Tuesday left some without power in Golden Valley.

According to Xcel Energy's outage map Wednesday morning, about 18 customers near 394 and east of there were out of power as of 7:30 and 9 p.m. Tuesday night, Aug. 6, and restoration of power was slated for 11 p.m. that night.

Downpour, strong winds and possible hail were part of the Tuesday storms that came through Golden Valley.
