Still Got Tree Debris? City Provides One More Drop-Off Day This Week
The temporary drop-off site on 10th Avenue will be open this Saturday, Aug. 3, one-time only for residents and businesses.

The city of Golden Valley is re-opening its temporary tree debris drop off site for one day only, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug 3, at 9305 10th Avenue, on the south side of the street.
The site is open to Golden Valley residents and businesses with a valid ID and proof of address as well as tree contractors who can identify the Golden Valley address from which their tree debris was taken. Logs and brush up to 12 feet long will be accepted (no stumps, mulch or leaves unattached to branches).
The city initially opened the temporary tree debris drop off site June 26 to July 3 to help residents dispose of tree debris left in the wake of the storms that hit Golden Valley in late June.

The city reminds residents that federal quarantine requires all ash wood be taken to designated disposal sites (like Golden Valley’s temporary drop off site). Ash wood also cannot be moved out of Hennepin County.
