Theodore Wirth Pkwy In Golden Valley Will Remain Closed On September 29 And 30, More Closures Starting Week Of October 5
Drivers should follow detour signage and stay away from areas where work is being performed.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board will close Theodore Wirth Pkwy Sept 29 and 30 between the trailhead parking lot and Plymouth Ave for required manhole and catch basin adjustments in advance of the resurfacing project that is set to begin Oct 5.

Theodore Wirth Pkwy will be closed between the Golf Clubhouse parking lot and the trailhead parking lot for a resurfacing project beginning Oct 5.
Work will start at the west parking lot entrance for the trailhead and progress north to the east golf clubhouse parking lot entrance. During construction, the trailhead parking lot will be accessible traveling north on the parkway from Hwy 55, and the golf clubhouse parking lot will be accessible traveling south on the parkway from Golden Valley Rd. Access to both lots will be blocked from Plymouth Ave.
Drivers should follow detour signage and stay away from areas where work is being performed.
Additional parkway sections are scheduled to be repaved in 2021 (see map).
