Tree Removals On Regent Ave N And Markay Ridge Delayed Due To Expected High Winds In Golden Valley

Due to high winds expected in the next few days, the City’s approved contractor, North Country Tree Solutions, will now be performing tree removal on Regent Ave N, Tue, Jan 26 and Markay Ridge, Wed, Jan 27.

The work being performed Jan 26 will not block traffic completely but drivers are asked to drive slowly through the area and around workers and vehicles. All residents in the area have been notified.

Jan 27 Detour Map

The work being performed Jan 27 will block a small section of Regent Ave. Drivers are asked to use Bassett Creek Dr, Noble Ave N, and Westbend Rd to avoid the closure (see detour map). All residents in the area have been notified.
