Winter Trails At Brookview Now Lit For Evening Use

Brookview Golf Course’s new solar LED lights along the one-mile multi-use winter trail were installed last week. Users of the trail will now be able to enjoy the great views of Brookview past dark.

The trail was added to the golf course in 2015 for cross-country skiing, fat-tire biking, snowshoeing, walking, skijoring, and kick-sledding and is free to use. It is groomed every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and will be lit from dusk to 10 pm.
The addition of the lights stems from a partnership between the City of Golden Valley and Three Rivers Park District.
