The Hopkins Fire Department is currently seeking candidates for paid, on-call firefighters who live within eight minutes of the department and are interested in serving Hopkins residents on a wide range of emergency calls and services. All uniforms, equipment and training is paid for by the department. Firefighters who spend at least 10 years with the department will receive a pension.
An informational meeting will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m., at the Hopkins Fire Station. Applications are due by Monday, March 30, at 4 p.m.
