Lenny stated the following, “The award to Cathy Carlson as Rotarian of the Year was an outstanding choice for one of our members who is always making sure that the Minnetonka Rotary meetings go smoothly. And besides being my friend, she has coached me throughout the year and I consider her to be one of our members who goes that extra mile. She is thorough in everything she does and is organized so that nothing is out of place or forgotten. She makes eleventh hour recoveries and hail mary end zone catches look like they were planned so that everything always works out. She is an amazing member, leader, and friend.”

Cathy Carlson came forward without knowing that this was going to take place and the picture shows that she was caught off guard and very surprised at this acknowledgement and award.

Cathy has been a member of Rotary since 1987 and is a past president. She has been a member of the board of directors for this past Rotary year. Cathy has been involved in our fundraising activities and although not solely responsible for their success, she makes a significant contribution in everything she does so that, as usual, every thing runs smoothly. Thank you Cathy for all your hard work behind the scenes.
