CANCELED: Monday Motocross at Dakota County Fair
The 154th Dakota County Fair kicks off Monday, but the fair announced via its website that the first night's grandstand event has been canceled.
The 2012 Dakota County Fair opens at 4 p.m. today, but, unfortunately, without the day's main event.
The motocross event at the grandstand that was supposed to happen Monday night has been canceled, according to the Dakota County Fair website. No replacement event has been scheduled, according to the event schedule (a complete scheduled is attached).
The fair's website reads:

"Due to unforeseen events - Monday night's Motocross has been cancelled. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Anyone who has already purchased tickets can either get a refund or exchange for another event in the Grandstand. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you."
