Drugs Suspected To Be Factor In Fatal Dakota County Crash: MSP
The crash on Highway 62 Friday in Inver Grove Heights left a 29-year-old man dead.

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — Authorities say drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash Friday evening that left a 29-year-old man dead in the south metro. The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) says a Pontiac Grand Am was traveling westbound on Highway 62 when it allegedly came to a stop in the right lane west of Robert Trail in Inver Grove Heights.
It was then rear-ended by a Dodge Ram just before 9:30 p.m., according to authorities.
All occupants of the two vehicles were transported to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul. A passenger in the Pontiac was later declared to be dead.

The three other people involved in the crash suffered non-life threatening injuries.
