Dump Truck Rolls In Fatal Inver Grove Heights Crash
The fatal crash happened just before 8 a.m. on Highway 55 Monday.
INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — A dump truck driver is dead after a crash on Highway 55 in Inver Grove Heights Monday morning. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the truck and a BMW sedan were westbound on Highway 55 approaching Argenta Trail just before 8 a.m.
The 2007 BMW slowed for a light change, but the truck directly behind the BMW didn't slow fast enough.
The truck swerved to the right, hit the BMW in rear before rolling off the roadway and striking a semaphore.

The truck driver — 64-year-old Gregg Ronald Orloff, of Cottage Grove — died at the scene.
The BMW driver — Katrina Gay Coss, 47, of Inver Grove Heights — did not suffer injuries, police said.
