Story:

"I just paid $23.25 to get my drivers license renewed. Am I missing something? How is an ID free?" Yes. You're missing something. A lot of commentators here are, and that's reading the amendment for yourself. Seems like people on both sides of the debate had been fed and faithfully regurgitate talking points, but not many have actually read the one page bill that introduces the amendment. Read the dang thing before spouting off like an expert on it!

Story:

Chicken or egg? Obama professes that the infrastructure is required for businesses to succeed. I'd maintain that without the succesful businesses there would be no way to pay for the infrastructure. The emphasis on roads and infrastructure here is also an attempt to redirect the discussion away from what are actually the points of contention. Few would argue with roads, bridges, and firefighters. A more pertinent argument would involve 99 weeks of unemployment, federal disability requirements, mandated health insurance, and commuter rail.

Story:

I would prefer Wendy's over Hardee's or a healthier place like Panera. I know if Hardee's opened my husband is going to gain about 50 lbs...lol

Story:

Would love to participate in this annual event in my neighborhood, but Simley scheduled high school sports registration and team parent meetings this night .... another boo for ISD 199

Story:

I would rather they not rush and do a sloppy job. If it takes an extra month or six because of inspections, proper materials, or weather conditions but it is safer for not only us commuters but also the workers, I am OK with the delay. I work downtown commuting across that bridge twice each day and understand people's frustrations.

I ask you to think about this: We have all tried doing a project around our home or yard and know what unexpected gotchas can pop up. Now imagine doing a huge project like this one. Please be patient.
