"MJB: it seems that everything that could have given MN needed revenue, our sweet governor shot down. Beer sales on Sundays, legal firework sales, racino...heck, he acts as if we don't need the income, then whines when we have none. Personally I am all for Wisconsin annexing Minnesota, maybe then we can have what is needed, including a winning football team!!!! :) (Go Pack!!! LOL)"

"Happy Birthday America ... I am proud to be an American and I ask for the safe return for all who are in the Military Service, hope and safety for all who are suffering from fire, wind and flood damage across our great country. And most of all for our Freedoms to be preserved and protected forever. God Bless the Great USA."

~ Mayor George Tourville

"So we obviously should ban bacon then because it is considered sinful to Muslims and Jews then. As for the "complementarity", believe me, no one ever had to write a gay relationship help book called 'Men are from Mars, Men are from Mars'."

~ Joe Carlin

Story:

"I heard a few ambulances while I was climbing hills and wishing for death, but all I saw was a chick break her ankle on the water-slide. I regretted signing up at the time but was super happy to have done it after all was said and done."

"Thanks for the information. I know who I will be voting for and more important why. Freedom does not equal free. How many times will people allow themselves to be lulled into the "you can have it all" lies before they realize it isn't true. What information will be put into the new government system to decide what, if any, treatment you will receive? What factors will they use? Age? Illness? Lifestyle? Job? Education? Collecting Social Security? Will someone who has worked all their lives and now finds themselves in need of surgery or medication be deemed worthy or worthless? Will someone who hasn't worked and doesn't want to work be deemed more worthy because they still have potential to be productive? Let the free market take care of this! Allow people to buy what they want from whomever they want and reduce frivolous lawsuits. Government (for the most part) has not proven that it is capable of building, maintaining, or monitoring much of anything in a cost-effective efficient manner. No, Mr. Metzen - this is not a perfect bill. This is national disaster w/ a price tag yet-to-be-determined that no one can afford."
