Grandma's Marathon 2012 Race Results for IGH Runners

Thousands took to the rolling terrain of Duluth and the North Shore on Saturday for the 36th annual Grandma's Marathon and the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon.

From Inver Grove Heights, 20 runners completed the marathon. In the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, 27 runners from Inver Grove Heights finished.

The marathon was won by Berhanu Girma, 25 of Cambridge (Mass.). Everlyne Lagat, 31, of Albuquerque (N.M.), led the women. In the half-marathon, Jack Delehanty, 25, of Minneapolis placed first overall, and Kelly Brinkman of Bloomington (Minn.), 31, placed first among women.
