Highway 3 In Inver Grove Heights Closed For 40 Days
This work is part of a summer-long project to add turn lanes, reconstruct a Rich Valley Boulevard intersection and resurface Highway 3.
INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — Motorists who travel both directions of Highway 3 between Highway 149 and Highway 55 in Inver Grove Heights should plan for delays and detours.
On Sunday, Highway 3 was closed and detoured between County Road 71-Rich Valley Boulevard to just north of Ann Marie Trail as crews reconstruct the road. Motorists should follow the signed detour of Interstate 494 and Highway 149 in order to bypass this closure.
Access to residences will be maintained. However, during this closure there will be no thru access on Highway 3 from County Road 71-Rich Valley Boulevard to Highway 55.

This closure is expected to last approximately 40 days.
