Austin had just turned one year old on July 12. He passed away on July 23, 2013.

"Earned his angel wings after a brave battle with Sturge-Weber Syndrome. Survived by loving parents, Justin & Crystal; adoring sister, Chloe; grandparents, James & Judy Friesz, Bruce & Jen Meagher, Lisa & Kevin Solberg; many loving aunts, uncles & cousins. Austin brought joy to thousands and will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday at the Church of St. Patrick, 3535 72nd St. IGH. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. IGH. Also 9-10 AM prior to Mass at church. Interment St. Patrick’s church cemetery."
