Inver Grove Heights May Day 5k

On Saturday, April 26th I took the opportunity to clean the walk way for the Inver Grove Heights May Day 5k.  I have been participating in the May Day 5k as long as I can remember.  I thought it would be thoughtful to go out and do a spring clean up the week before this event.  Thankfully the weather cooperated.  It had been rainy before and after.  My mother, brother, and grandfather all came out to help.  We picked up everything from paper to pieces of tire.  I thought the baby rattle and pacifier were the most interesting items.  This was also right after Earth Day.  I am glad that I can help my community by keeping it clean.
