Inver Grove Heights Police Department Offers New Service For Residents With Special Needs
The first 50 IGH families who sign up receive a FREE safety beacon.
October 15, 2020
The IGH Police Department is partnering with The Vitals App to provide a valuable service to IGH residents.
The Vitals App provides a Bluetooth safety beacon that individuals with special needs such as autism, dementia and mental health concerns carry with them. Then the beacon alerts IGH PD officers of these needs before they approach the individual, which helps officers communicate and offer help more effectively.
