 On Wednesday, May 28 Kelsey (Miss Inver Grove Heights) and I had the pleasure of attending the Kaposia Days Candidate Showcase. During this event we got to talk with all ELEVEN candidates in the running for Miss South St. Paul. Each candidate along with the current royalty made a dish to share with everyone in attendance. Their dish represented them in some sort of way whether it said something about their heritage, a secret family recipe, or just a homemade favorite. Everything was so delicious! It was great to sample some foods I have never tried before. The judges have some tough competition to choose from for the new South St. Paul royalty. Good luck candidates!
