Woman, 22, Killed In Crash On Highway 55 In Inver Grove Heights

The Wednesday morning collision involved four cars, including one semi.

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — A 22-year-old woman died Wednesday morning in a crash on Highway 55 at Argenta Trail in Inver Grove Heights. The highway was closed for several hours after the collision.

Just before 8:30 a.m., a blue Honda in the far right lane of eastbound Highway 55 turned north on Argenta against a red light. The Honda was being driven by Rebecca Christine Waller, 22, of Harris, Minnesota.

While attempting to cross westbound traffic, the Honda was struck by a red pickup, then again by a westbound semi.

Waller died at the scene.

The driver of the truck — Bradly Allen Setering, a 68-year-old from Prescott, Wisconsin — was transported to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The semi driver — Darran Arvid Jonsgaard, 51, of Fountain City, Wisconsin — did not suffer injury in the crash.
