 On Thursday, December 26th I assisted my Grandma Ann with Meals On Wheels. My grandmother has participated longer than I have been alive. I have had opportunities to go along and assist her. I think I was three or four the first time I went with. Meals On Wheels is an organization that delivers warm meals to those who have a difficult time cooking for themselves or getting out of the house. I think the best part of volunteering is seeing the smile on their faces when we come to the door. I like being able to visit with everyone. I am not able to participate on a regular basis since I am at school when my grandmother goes, but I have enjoyed helping out when I can.
