Prostitution In Inver Grove Heights: Woman Pleads Guilty
A massage parlor in Inver Grove Heights offered sexual services, police said.

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — An Inver Grove Heights woman pled guilty Thursday to two counts of prostitution in the second degree. Authorities say Xueyan Wang, 40, was involved in promoting prostitution at the business she owned — identified as Herb Spa — a massage parlor in Inver Grove Heights.
Judge Ann Offermann ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set the sentencing for Nov. 7. Wang is currently being held without bail.
In March of 2019, officers of the Inver Grove Heights Police Department began an investigation into possible prostitution at Herb Spa.

Police spoke with several men after they were seen leaving Herb Spa, according to a news release. The men admitted to receiving sexual services from different women at the massage parlor, police said.
Investigators also learned that Wang made multiple runs to and from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and paid airfare for women to fly to Minnesota from San Francisco and Chicago.

Officers found two women inside who were living in the back of the business. Neither spoke English. One confirmed she was from California and had been working at the business since February.
She indicated she pays Wang rent and that Wang retains half the profits that she makes from the services provided, according to the criminal complaint.
Wang went shopping to provide groceries and toiletries for the women. Approximately $13,000 in bundles of currency were found in the parlor, dating back to June 10, 2019.
In a safety deposit box belonging to Wang, over $42,000 in mostly twenty-dollar bills was located.
