Support Our Troops: IGH Fire Department Seeking Donations
Community members can bring donations to city hall starting Oct. 14 until the last day Nov. 8.
The Inver Grove Heights Fire Department is helping collect items to “Support Our Troops.”
Collections started during the IGH Fire Station Open House Sunday and will continue to be collected 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting Oct. 14 until the last day Nov. 8 at the fire window at City Hall, 8150 Barbara Avenue.
Items sought for donation include:

- Cotton or wool socks (black, olive green or white)
- Prepaid phone cards
- Non-perishable microwave foods
- Ready to eat snacks
- Nuts and jerky
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, lotions, deodorant, etc. (please no free samples, or hotel samples)
- Board games
