Woman Killed In Dakota County Hit-And-Run: Police Seek Help
Authorities are looking for the vehicle involved in the crash that left a 55-year-old woman dead.
INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN — Inver Grove Heights police are investigating after a hit and run collision left a 55-year-old woman dead Saturday night. Authorities say the crash happened on 80th Street east of Blaine Avenue.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of the vehicle involved.
On Jan. 5 just before 6 p.m., an officer with the Inver Grove Heights Police Department was flagged down by a passer-by who found the victim. Resuscitation efforts were performed but were unsuccessful.

Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to call the Inver Grove Heights Police Department tip line at (651) 450-2530.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the reconstruction of the collision.
