You Carve...We'll Trash! Bring Your Pumpkin to the Compost Event

Don’t toss your pumpkins in the trash this year, instead compost them at the IGH Pumpkin Composting Event for FREE!

• Date & Time: Saturday, Nov. 7-Sunday, Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day
• Location: VMCC Parking Lot, 8055 Barbara Avenue — Place your pumpkin in the organics dumpster near Door G

Accepted Items

• Plain Carved Pumpkins
• Plain Uncarved Pumpkins

No painted pumpkins or candles will be accepted.

All pumpkins collected will be brought to the Mulch Store compost facility in Rosemount where they will be turned into compost—a valuable soil additive.
