Beer and Bingo Raises 20k for Excelsior Fourth of July Fireworks

The Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior Rotary Club presented a check last week to the Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce in support of the Lake Minnetonka Fourth of July fireworks fund.

The donation is a result of the inaugral Burgers & Bingo by the Bay, a fun event sponsored by Maynards and Excelsior Brewing Company, and hosted by the Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior Rotary Club.

The event raised approximately $20,000 to put toward the fireworks display.

The Chamber hosts the only free public fireworks show on the waters of Lake Minnetonka.

On Thursday, June 20, the Rotary group presented a big check to the Chamber at their monthly meeting at STEELE Fitness.
