Excelsior Resident Earns Exercise and Movement Sciences Degree from University of VT

Mya Magney of Excelsior received a BS degree in exercise and movement sciences from the University of Vermont's College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Magney received the degree during commencement ceremonies May 19.

The university conferred degrees this year on an estimated 3,258 graduates, including 2,577 bachelor's, 439 master's, 122 doctoral, and 106 M.D. degree recipients, in addition to 14 post-baccalaureate certificates. Among degree recipients were students from 44 states 17 countries.
