The Wayzata Community Sailing Center (WCSC) is back on Lake Minnetonka for another exciting summer of racing. 

On Friday the WCSC hosted the Mike Plant Memorial Regatta, an event providing scholarships for racing lessons.

Plant's mother, Mary, helps sponsor the regatta, and this was the 11th annual race.

The organizations involved are the Wayzata Yacht Club and The Wayzata Community Sailing Center.

Four separate fleets participated, and the boats in the races were Optis, Lasers, and 420 sailboats.

The kids had a great time thanks to favorable winds and fair weather.
