Wiechert competed in the 44th Pillsbury Bake-Off in Orlando back in 2010. Her range neighbor at the contest, Sue Compton, went on to win the $1 million grand prize.

Voting for this year's bake off is open on BakeOff.com and began June 13. Votes can be cast through noon on June 27. For the first time in the 64-year history of the Bake-Off Contest, America will determine which of the semifinalists recipes will vie for the grand prize. Those 100 finalists will compete at the Bake-Off Contest finals, November 10-12, 2013, at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

In order to qualify this year, the recipes were limited to seven or fewer ingredients and must take 30 minutes or less to prepare, not including baking or cooling time.

"I'm very excited that my recipe for Orange Cardamom Blueberry Crostata was chosen," Wiechert said.
