David Mitchell Sill, age 48 of Minneapolis and formerly of Duluth and Denver, CO, passed away on Feb. 1, 2012 at home following an 11-month, hard-fought battle with cancer.
David was a loving husband, father, son, brother, “the favorite uncle” and a friend to everyone he met and was born on Nov. 27, 1963 in Duluth, MN. David was the youngest of Mitchell and Elva Sill’s five children. David met his wife Breanne Sill (Massee) in Duluth.
Following their move to a loft he loved in Minneapolis’s Mill City neighborhood, David and Breanne married and welcomed their beautiful baby girl Layla Marie Sill on April 12, 2011. With the strength and support from Breanne, Layla and all of David’s family and friends, he continued to fight a very rare Ewing Sarcoma until the very moment of his death.
