Orono Fifth-Grade 'Math Masters' Take First in Chaska

The team is coached by Lindsey Huotari.

Thousands of gifted students are expected to compete in Math Masters competitions across Minnesota this year. Last year, the top winners were recognized at Twins game.

Three of them won awards in the individual competition: Grace Strobel, Aaron Brekken, Meghan Chouanard and Margaret Kraus.

Each competitor also received a t-shirt.
