A sampling of the classic beauties to be on display include a 1909 Ford Model T, a 1913 Hudson, a 1924 Packard, a 1925 Bentley, a 1931 Marmon V16 (from Long Beach, Calif.), a 1937 Cord, a 1942 Chevrolet Truck and a 1954 Jaguar.

Lake Minnetonka will be the backdrop for an upscale car show June 2 featuring classic cars in perfect condition. French for “Competition of Elegance,” the Concours d’Elegance will showcase automobiles selected from a field of applicants for their authenticity, beauty and style.
From the pre-1923 Brass Era to pre-1974 Foreign Cars; Treasured American Classics from the 20s, 30s and 40s to American Production cars from the 50s, 60s and early 70s; nearly 100 collectible autos will grace the Excelsior Commons.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to the public.
