Wayzata-Based Blue Water Theatre Company Presents 'The Secret Garden'
Seating for the February performances at The Southern Theater in Minneapolis are onsale now, and seating for this performance are reserved.

Wayzata-based Blue Water Theatre Company will present "The Secret Garden" at The Southern Theater in Minneapolis on Feb. 7, 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. and on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m.
Based on the classic children's book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, "The Secret Garden" features music by Lucy Simon and book and lyrics by Marsha Norman. The original Broadway production premiered in 1991, and ran for over 700 performances. It won three Tony Awards, including Best Book of a Musical, and was nominated for four others, including Best Musical.
Blue Water’s production features a cast of 29 student actors representing: Orono High School, Wayzata High School, Wayzata West Middle School, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Cretin Derham Hall, Field Middle School, Hopkins High School, Hopkins North Junior High School, Main Street School of Performing Arts and Minnetonka High School.

"The Secret Garden" is directed by Charlie Leonard, owner of The Bookcase in Wayzata, with musical direction by Kirsten Hoiseth Thayer and choreography by Katie Fischer.

In a departure from past Blue Water productions, seating for The Secret Garden is reserved.
